Adapted from their military thermal shirt block, the Honeycomb Thermal is another staple piece elevated by The Real McCoy's obsession to detail. Unlike most thermal shirts, this uses a three-dimensional raschel knit, which creates extra loft and warmth compared to a simple waffle knit. The resulting shirt is very substantial, and can be worn alone as a sweatshirt. The neck binding is a matching cotton rib, and the seams all feature vintage-style flatlock stitching.
These have been updated in 2023 from the previous specs, featuring a slightly lighter weight body knit with a bit more mechanical stretch than older models. The hem features a vintage overlock stitch, while the sleeves and collar use a soft ribbed knit - also found on the brand new underarm diamond gussets for comfort and mobility.
Fit is very slim and long. Go with your true size to wear as a thermal undershirt, size up one to wear alone. Wash cold and dry flat.
